Big Game Hunter's 6ft Pool Table Range

The most popular size for pool tables used in the home is 6 foot. They do not require too much room for storage and can fit in slightly smaller rooms than the 7 and 8 foot sized pool tables. 6ft pool tables are also common in pubs and bars where space can be something of a premium.

6ft Pool Tables are Popular in Pubs

6ft pool tables are the same size as most tables found in your local pubs, Pubs that have British pool usually have tables which are either 6ft by 3ft. If they have a little more room, then iyou may find pool tables that are 7ft by 4ft.

The dimensions given, are the dimensions of the tables themselves so the internal playing surface will change depending on how large the side cushions are.

British pool is slightly different to American pool, American pool tables usually have larger pockets and balls. In American pool, the balls themselves will be numbered or spots and stripes whereas British pool is played using red and yellow balls. To Fold, or Not to Fold...

The 6ft pool tables come in 2 different designs, there are some 6 foot pool tables that fold and some which have fixed legs. Both types of 6ft pool table offer the same performance but the folding versions are a lot easier to store.

You may find that if you will be using your 6 foot pool table on a regular basis, and you have the space to leave it out all the time, then a fixed leg pool table could be the best option for you. The tables with fixed legs also tend to have more space underneath so could be use to store boxes beneath the table when not in use.

If your space is more limited, or you know you will not use the table all the time - a 6ft Folding Pool Table would be the best option for you. There are two design of 6ft pool tables which fold - the 'lay-flat' folding tables and the upright folding tables. The lay flat tables are good for sliding behind furniture or down the wall of a garage. The upright folding tables are great for being able to fold out with ease.
