How To Calculate How Much Playbark you require.
- Measure the footprint of your climbing frame in metres. E.g 5m x 6m
- Add 1.5m all the way around your frame for a safe fall area and add this to your dimensions. In our example: 8m x 9m
- Multiply the length of the area by the width of the area:. In our example 8m x 9m = 72 square metres
- Decide on the depth you require the bark to be. We recommend a minimum of 20cm
- Multiply the area you want to cover by the depth. In our example 72 x 0.2 = 14.4square metres
- Round up to the nearest 3 square metres. In our example this would be 15 square metres
