As a result, climbing frames are only suitable for a lower age range of up to 11 years of age. Some frames use a combination of timber and Durawood to cut cost. Durawood is a wood pulp, encased in a plastic coating, which does not have the same quality appeal as real timber. Timber has a 12 year warranty against wood rot and insect infestation Ground stakes are provided. No cementing, digging is required Due to their American origin, dimensions of fixings are in imperial sizes and may not fit many UK tools.
